CNC Horizontal Milling
(Night Shift) GBP27,378 - GBP29,406
Programmer/Setter position.
I am currently looking for an experienced, preferably time served, CNC Milling Programmer/setter for our ten horizontal machining centres based predominantly at the Gillingham site.
This is a night shift position working Mon - Thurs 6pm - 6am.
The ideal applicant should be fully conversant in Fanuc and be capable of programming and setting a part from drawing.
A good knowledge of fixture design and work holding is required, as the majority of jobs are recurring, and need to be "operator friendly ".
An excellent understanding of:
- Materials
- Tooling
- Cutting speeds and feeds is essential, as is the ability to work efficiently and to close tolerances.
A high standard of quality is expected from all staff.
