What we will ASK of you as a Head Chef
?? Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Italian food and cooking techniques
?? Cook for and inspire the team in driving food consistency and knowledge
?? Perform and maintain a food stock count and be confident in analysing the data
?? Take responsibility for the leadership of the BOH team through setting a great example of knowledge and passion for all things Ask Italian
?? Interpret historical sales to help control the prep and waste from the kitchen
?? Confidently produce effective rotas taking into account the needs of the business and the ability of the BOH team
?? Inspire the team through great knowledge of Italian food and cooking processes
What you'll need as a Head Chef
?? Previous experience of being at Head Chef Level in a restaurant of equal or similar size.
?? A sound knowledge of Italian food ingredients and cooking techniques
?? Confident in all health and safety practices with proven ability to maintain a kitchen with a consistent approach
?? A good working knowledge of producing and maintaining food standard's with a solid understanding of the impact on the restaurants P&L
?? Natural leader with excellent communication skills.
