Senior Design Engineer
40k - 60k dependent on skills and experience
A leading designer and manufacturer of bespoke equipment for the automotive and aerospace sector are looking for a Design Engineer to join the growing team. This is a role that has come through company expansion and the successful Design Engineer will work in their head office.
Essential requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 10 years' experience of designing special purpose equipment
- Proven ability to produce simple effective solutions by creating and refining concept sketches into fully detailed models and detailed manufacturing drawings
- Robust problem solving skills
- Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
Preferred requirements
- 5 years of recent SolidWorks experience
- Design experience in the automotive/aerospace industry
