Travel and Call Centre Sales Manager, Travel - GBP40k

Our client is one of the fastest growing companies in London and they specialising in Spa breaks in more than 3000 destinations across the UK, Ireland, Europe and Rest of the World. You will report directly to the company owner and founder and you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Travel call centre, helping to hit individual and group targets whilst training them in sales and the product.
The responsibilities of Call Centre and Sales Manager, Travel are:

  • Monitoring call centre sales stats including inbound and outbound calls, number of enquiries being dealt with, profitability, etc.
  • Managing call centre sales team rota's and progression
  • Liaising with the team leaders to ensure call centre sales targets are being hit
  • Liaising with the product team to ensure that the high value and high commission product is being sold in the most effective way
  • Monitoring call centre stats and listening in to call centre sales calls to ensure closing techniques
  • Training the team on all aspects of handling enquiries, closing sales, up selling.
  • Organising and facilitating product training and familiarisation trips for the sales team
  • Monitoring individual and group call centre performance


The Skills required for the Call Centre and Sales Manager, Travel are:

  • 3+ years' experience in call centre sales management, travel experience preferred
  • Able to lead by example and show a proven record from a call centre.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience within the outbound sales industry
  • Able to motivate a call centre travel team in high pressured situations
  • Ability to manage change
  • Good decision making skills with proven examples
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and a flexibility to adapt
  • Significant experience working in customer focused , target driven environment
  • Numerically & commercially strong
  • Hold a UK or UK accepted international driving license
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & ideally Google Applications
