Opportunity available for a Technical Project Manager (Security/ Defence/ Cyber /IT) with an engineering, software development or electronics background to join one of the fastest growing companies in the UK. Responsibility
As Technical Project Manager (Cyber / Delivery / Change) You will be accountable for the delivery of a project or programme with responsibilities including:
• Management of client engagements and business development opportunities
• Production of estimates and project plans
• Selection and mobilisation of project teams (design, development, test, implementation and support resource) to meet customer and internal time constraints.
• Identification and mitigation of technical, schedule and management risks, and allocation and management of corresponding contingency finance.
• Day to day project/delivery management of technical delivery teams including task assignment and review.
• Supporting business development and contributing appropriately to proposals and/or propositions.
Skills and Experience
• Degree educated
• Software development background
• Managing a project team of at least 6 members
Desirable Credentials/Experience
• Prince 2, APM or similar project management qualification.
• Experience working to a Regulatory authority in addition to a commercial client/customer
• Experience of Agile Development
• Experience of managing sub-contractors delivering services and negotiating contracts with these parties on behalf of the client or your own team
