Senior Quantity Surveyor - Exeter - GBP39,000+ (salary dependant on experience)
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Exeter office of a successful, nationally-operating consultancy firm. Working on a range of varied and interesting projects, you will be conducting both pre-and post- surveying duties.
The successful candidate for this position as a Senior Quantity Surveyor will:
* Have a relevant Quantity Surveying degree.
* Be of MRICS status with over 5 years PQE.
* Have previous project experience in a variety of sectors.
* Have extensive experience in both pre and post contract surveying duties.
* Possess strong communication skills with the ability to work both individually and within a team environment.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):
* Pre and post contract surveying duties.
* Working on projects in numerous sectors for a range of varied and interesting clients.
* Analysing projects and preparing cash flow reports.
* Preparing tender and contract documents whilst undertaking a cost analysis on the project work.
* Preparing valuations and the valuation of variations.
* Administrating contracts and acting as an Employer's agent on JCT contracts.
* Cost control duties alongside valuations and risk assessments.
