One of the UK's most established, Logistics perm specialists are currently looking to expand the existing successful team by recruiting a Perms Consultant for their Market Harborough office. As someone with prior recruitment experience and a successful billing history, we'll expect you to already understand the importance of regular business development.This company places equal emphasis on your ability to source and forge connections with high quality candidates. With a database with in excess of 130,000 logistics and supply chain professionals in addition to the technology and associated IT platform to assist you with your search for the best candidates.
Duties will include:
??Speaking with clients and understand their recruitment needs
??Following-up and pursuing opportunities for new business
??Performing searches to find candidates across multiple channels (including online, databases, referrals)
??Interviewing candidates in a professional and purposeful manner
??Taking an active interest and keeping up-to-date with industry news and trends
??Researching the market and generating new leads
??Updating and managing a large database of logistics professionals
??Arranging and preparing candidates for interviews
??Formatting candidate CVs to the BJD standard
??Writing adverts for internet job boards
??Providing support to other BJD Consultants
Skills:
A minimum of 2 years' recruitment experience is required (in any sector). Knowledge of logistics would be an advantage, although sector training and support will be provided. It is important that you possess:
Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with both clients and candidates
Competency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
A good standard of education (a degree or similar would be advantageous but not essential)
A hard-working attitude and desire to succeed
Commercial awareness
An ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Self-motivation, tenacity and resilience
Rewards:
A basic starting salary of up to 26K
A company car after probation targets are met
Uncapped commission (giving a realistic OTE of GBP30K in Year 1)
28 days' holiday
