Music Instrumental Teacher for Guitar

Part-time, term time only position is on a self-employed basis.

We are looking to recruit an inspirational and enthusiastic part time visiting instrumental music teacher for high quality guitar tuition. The successful candidate must be able to prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity Rock & Pop Music Examinations throughout the grades and encourage a life-long love of music and wider participation of music.

Oasis Academy Hadley is an inclusive all-through, 2 to 18 academy that is committed to giving children the best possible education. High-performing and continuously improving, we are in new building with excellent facilities located 2 minutes walk from Ponders End Train Station

The hours of work are dictated by the number of students requiring lessons. Currently we have 6 hours of teaching a week and it is hoped the successful applicant will be proactive in encouraging more students to start lessons. There may be opportunities to get involved with other music-making activities in the Academy including the running of extra-curricular ensembles.

The candidate will work alongside members of the music department in the preparation and presentation of Academy ensembles, productions and concerts. The candidate will be driven to developing student engagement and involvement in the wider life of the music department.
