Cathedral Appointments are currently looking for an Electronics Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based just outside of Tiverton, Devon.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working with R&D engineers and cutting edge machinery to progress concepts and prototypes to full manufacture.
- Development, verification and qualification of electronic designs in accordance with relevant standards through external certification and testing where appropriate.
- Assisting with mechanical and software aspects of product development, including testing.
- Design and fabrication of test equipment for product development, testing and manufacture.
- Design for manufacture including Production Process Failure Mode and Effects analysis.
Key Requirements of the Electronics Engineer:
- Qualified to a degree level in electronic engineering or closely-related discipline.
- Robust PCB layout and schematic capture skills, with experience in CAD simulation packages.
- Overall product design and design for manufacturability experience.
- Excellent communication, report writing and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced engineering environment.
The role of the Electronics Engineer is a challenging and rewarding role offering strong personal career development. You will be incorporated into a positive multi-disciplined team working to produce cutting edge technology and engaged at all stages of the product development lifecycle.
Due to the location of the role, it is essential that you have access to your own vehicle.
