Our client is a forward-thinking social organisation that positively impacts communities. They're also proud to create opportunities that make things happen - for people, families, homes and communities. They're a busy team with lots to do and can only achieve this if they've got the right resources so look for people and partners with as much enthusiasm and passion as they have for making things happen.

Joining our client as a Business Administration Apprentice (Fixed Term Contract 24 months), you will contribute to the provision of an excellent contract management service and, through effective and efficient administration, ensure that our client’s services to its customers are delivered to the highest possible standards.

Utilising varied administration processes to offer professional and comprehensive support to the Maintenance team, you will act as a first point of contact for matters relating to the Maintenance Team and update and maintain their computer based and manual office systems and records to an acceptable standard in line with Group members requirements.

You must also work with the Maintenance Team to carry out desktop audits and checks of day to day repairs and emergency call out repairs; liaising with customers and contractors over repair issues and making appointments for survey work.

Candidates will be expected to take a full and active role in the implementation of their own personal development and to participate fully in the training programme provided as part of this apprenticeship.  They ask that candidates do have some administration experience, excellent face to face and telephone communication skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office software (including Outlook, Word, Excel and Access) and computerised database systems.  Any experience within a social housing environment would be beneficial but is not essential.

As well as a competitive salary and a generous holiday entitlement, they offer a range of benefits for a rewarding career including a health cash plan, pension scheme, child care vouchers and staff discount club membership. They’ll also make sure you get the training and benefits you deserve.

Our client is currently under represented by Ethnic Minorities, LGBT Groups and people with a Disability and would particularly welcome applications from these groups, however any appointment would be made on merit.
