The West Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking to strengthen its portfolio management office (PMO), which was established in 2017 and oversees a GBP1bn+ portfolio of programmes and projects. These schemes are either delivered directly by WYCA or through one of our partner organisations (public and private sector). Whichever the delivery route, the PMO has responsibility for ensuring that only schemes which meet the strategic aims of the organisation are developed and delivered and they are done so within the agreed time, cost and quality framework

We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Part Time Portfolio Manager to join this newly established team. The Portfolio Manager (Transport) is part of the Monitoring and Reporting Team within the PMO. The post holder will be responsible for developing and maintaining monitoring systems and reporting on the progress principally of transport projects.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is proficient at data analysis interpretation and manipulation, has knowledge of public sector financial systems and experience of working with external funding sources (including Government and European).
