The area???s leading independent letting agent seeks someone with a passion for administration. They are a long established business with an enviable reputation and have a wonderful team with a great working dynamic who will go the extra yard for anyone.
We are looking for either someone with potential or someone with a proven track record or industry experience.
As an administrator you would be expected to support all team members in their roles. This is not a sales role; it is purely about the administration of the business. They would consider a graduate or someone with promise.
Candidate Requirements:
- Excellent customer facing skills
- Extremely well organised and self-motivated
- Thirst to always look for ways to improve systems and take the business forward
- Strong communication and administrative skills
- A calm personality able to resolve any difficult situations that can arise dealing with landlords and tenant
- Able to resolve any problem and work under pressure
- Strong Maths and English
Duties & Responsibilities:
- ARLA industry accreditation study and completion within one year mandatory.
- Compiling renewal contracts
- Dealing with checkouts and deposit returns (possible negotiating deposit deductions)
- Arranging cleaning, repairing, decorating etc
- Dealing with utility companies
- Administration of contracts, maintenance, systems, processes, rent arrears, tenancy agreements
- Marketing and advertising
- Property key management
- Arrange inspections
- Update legal compliance
- Business compliance e.g. health and safety, fire regs etc
Their working day is 9am to 5.30pm with one in 4 Saturdays 10 to 2. For six months in the summer they work 9 to 6 and 10 to 2 every other Saturday. You would be expected to work outside of these hours, depending on work load.
Commitment and hard work will be rewarded . Negotiable Package dependent on experience and performance levels.
