Reporting to the Senior Fleet Management Engineer, the Fleet Management Engineer is responsible for ensuring focused and uniform engineering input into Jet2.com aircraft acquisitions and returns. This position works closely with the Acquisitions team and multiple internal departments throughout the introduction and removal of aircraft to and from the Jet2.com fleet.
During the introduction of aircraft, the Fleet Management Engineer will ensure that aircraft are compliant with European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) airworthiness requirements and ensure the physical presentation meets the high standards expected of the Jet2.com fleet. In addition the Fleet Management Engineer will have responsibility for generating reports and conducting physical inspections to support mid term aircraft reviews.
The successful candidate will ideally be experienced in conducting the review of aircraft records and have a good general understanding of aircraft specifications. They will possess excellent attention to detail and high accuracy when transposing data, with the ability to work cooperatively and flexibly, whilst maintaining strong working relationships at all business levels is vital to the success of this role.
