Are you an experienced CAD Technician looking for a new challenge?
A Thriving, progressive retail interiors design and manufacturing company based in Highbridge (5 minutes from M5 J22) requires an efficient, experienced CAD Technician. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of a CAD package such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar. The company has recently introduced Revit, the knowledge of which would be a distinct advantage but is not essential as training will be provided. Experience in the Shopfitting industry would be preferable but the role is open to a keen, enthusiastic person willing to learn. You must be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, common sense and a positive attitude.
Summary of the role and requirements:
Travel within the UK and Ireland to conduct site surveys
Read technical drawings and plans
Ability to ask the right questions to find out the information required to produce accurate drawings
Prepare floorplans, elevations & 3D sketches with regard to store layouts and production drawings
Maintain accuracy of models and data content
Liaise with outside suppliers and clients regarding equipment we design and manufacture
Work to tight deadlines set by the project managers
Excellent organisational skills and multi-tasking ability
Full UK Driving Licence
This is a full time role with office hours 8:30am-5pm Monday to Friday. Extra hours as required depending on the requirements of the business
