A Design engineer is required, ideally matching all of the above. You will need to be driven by innovative design and have the ability to make products beautiful.

This position is based in Portsmouth area (off the Island) and you will need to be commutable. A Degree is ideal as is an interest / experience in the Marine industry.

This is working for a leader in the industry and they are heavily involved in a range of products into the marine industry.

Proven ability to execute and deliver projects within budget and on time

Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles

A strong understanding of manufacturing processes

Have a working knowledge for specifying correct use of gears and bearings

An appreciation of drive systems incorporating AC/DC motors and hydraulic systems

Strong 3D CAD skills, preferably Creo or Solidworks

Ability to think conceptually and communicate ideas clearly
