Who are we looking for?

As our ideal Managing Quantity Surveyor based in Bilsthorpe; you will need to be enthusiastic, well organised, and self-motivated. You will be able to demonstrate proven experience within a similar role and be educated to degree level. You will also:

- Be largely qualified by experience related to industry standards
- Be a member of RICS, or ICES (desirable)
- Have experience of conditions of contracts / specification requirements/ method of measurements
- Knowledge of legislation & requirements
- Experience of dispute resolution

What will I be responsible for?

Joining the contracting team as a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for:

- Overseeing the measurement and prepare valuations, whilst Monitoring and reporting on the financial performance of contracts.
- Contracting valuations
- Monitoring and managing the procurement of control of sub contract labour, provide advice and guidance on Contract & Subcontract terms and conditions
- Providing input in the submission of contractual claims and provide notices required under the contract
- Maintaining records of public liability and other third party insurance claims
- Preparing and finalising month end accounts in line with management procedures
- Effective management & coaching of all direct reports
