This hugely successful and well established supplier to the UK high street are currently seeking a knitwear designer to join their menswear team, providing a pivotal role in the team.

Our client is a hugely successful internationally leading supplier to the high street across mens and womenswear, long established and now owned by one of the largest fashion brands in the world. Key directorships form blue chip backgrounds have now been appointed and the business is now about to take on its next phase of growth.

Description

Based at Head Office in the North West accountability will include the below:

• Take the creative lead for the customer brief - creating mood, silhouette, innovation, colour and fabric boards in line with trend concept for the season

• Ensure product is commercial and innovative

• Customer facing - the ability to present and support your ideas is key

Profile

The successful candidate will must have the below skills and experience:

• Extensive knitwear design experience, menswear knit would be advantageous but not essential

• The ability to work within a fast paced and commercial environment

• High level of computer literacy including CAD/Photoshop/Illustrator

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.

• Innovative style with strong business acumen

• Strong team player who is driven to succeed and draws inspiration from working collaboratively with others
