Drainage Engineer

A local Northampton business that was established in 2012 is looking to hire a Drainage Engineer due to continued and predicted growth.

The business has become one of the most highly respected drainage companies in the country within the last 5 years.

Their knowledge has come from extensive experience within the industry and their careful selection of staff. The company carry out extensive training, to ensure all staff are fully capable to carry out their duties.

As a Drainage Engineer you will be carrying out emergency drain clearances and planned maintenance through to CCTV surveys.

What we are looking for:

• CCTV surveying, main line and push rod cameras
• High pressure water jetting.
• Patch repairs
• Unblocks
• Full length lining
• Full driving license essential
• Trailer license an advantage

Previous experience within the drainage industry would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate. Ideally though we are looking for candidates to have a basic understanding of the industry.

You will have the use of a company vehicle but this must be left at base at the end of the day so own transport is a must.

The successful candidate will have a willingness to learn and work in both a team environment and on their own initiative.

Most of the work will be midlands based but in busy periods some work away from home may be required but this is the exception to the norm.

In return a salary of between £20,000 and £32,000 is on offer dependent on experience.

During the first 6 month's probation the salary will be reviewed after a successful 3 month period and reviewed again upon successful completion of the 6 months.
