Category Development Assistant

We have two fantastic opportunities for CDA's within our Foodbuy team. .

Supporting all of the Category Managers across the Retail Team, primarily co-ordinating the promotional process and owning data management for all categories. There is also a fantastic opportunity to support on project work.

Ensuring a safe supply chain for our employees, clients and consumers. Excellent interpersonal skills are a prerequisite as you will be managing internal and external stakeholders through the promotions process to deliver timely and accurately. For example, supply chain, data, pricing, finance strategic sourcing and category development teams. Involvement in the delivery of sustainable and NCR funding. Responsibility for managing and balancing multiple cost centres.

To be right for this role you will have a high level of communication and process management skills. An excellent commercial awareness with a can-do attitude and the ability to influence at senior level within the business. The ability to manage tasks from start to finish and close attention to detail. Having the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders confidently. It is essential to be computer literate and able to learn various software programs. Committed to attaining the highest levels of commercial success individually & for the team. Have a collaborative approach with the ability to build partnerships both internally and externally with senior stakeholders
