Operations Assistant, Full-time 37 Hours, Fixed-term until end of June 2018

Salary £16,303 per annum

We are recruiting for an Operations Assistant to join the team at Colston Hall (the South West's largest concert hall and Bristol's major music venue).  You will play a key role in preparing and maintaining our spaces, ensuring they are clean, safe and well maintained, undertaking minor repair and maintenance works, lifting safely and ensuring excellent standards of customer care. 

You will help to ensure that our events run efficiently and smoothly for all our clients and customers, maintaining the highest levels of health & safety at all times.

Our ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive and self motivated, with previous experience of repairs and maintenance, preparing spaces (for example at events or festivals) and an understanding of how to deliver outstanding customer service.  Previous experience of working in a similar, large scale multi-purpose venue and training in manual handling would be desirable, but is not essential. This role is offered on a fixed-term contract to provide support to the team as we move towards temporary closure of the hall for our major redevelopment project in 2018.
