Our client is a market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of acoustic noise control products in the UK, and is urgently seeking a Noise Design Engineer to be based from their head office in the Wokingham region.
You need to have; extensive acoustic design experience, excellent commercial awareness of products such as enclosures, chamber and louvres, and also be an effective communicator.
Duties-
* Produce technical drawings and designs for complex bespoke noise solutions.
* Giving technical guidance to consultants, technicians and other engineers.
* Liaise between clients, sales contacts and the technical team.
* Identify new business opportunities with prospective clients and existing projects.
* Hold face to face client meetings.
* Work closely with junior staff and other industry contacts.
* Maintaining awareness of the market and competitors new products lines.
* Provide reports on project work and the technical department.
Our client provides solutions to a wide range of industries including; architectural, building services, industrial and environmental noise control. You will be responsible for creating a wide range of equipment including industrial silencers, acoustic enclosures and acoustic louvres. With 200 years history, you will be joining a household name in the noise, air and temperature control division. Boasting clients such as the BBC, the NHS and Tesco, there will be plenty of opportunity to work on the UK's most prestigious project lists.
You need to have excellent communication skills, have a full working knowledge of the project cycle and have the ability to communicate effectively with key decision makers.
