Mobile Service Engineer - Forklift Trucks

Working for a national Forklift / Materials Handling company, you will be working as a Field Service Engineer - this is a mobile role, based in the Leicester / East Midlands area. You will have previous engineering experience working on a range of Mechanical / Electrical / Hydraulic plant equipment including, Forklift Trucks, VNA Trucks etc. The salary for this position is 25 - 28.5k, plus overtime and benefits. We are looking for someone who is familiar with working within Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Hydraulic equipment, including strip down and rebuilds. Previous experience working on Materials Handling Equipment is preferred, you must have previous engineering experience and a driving licence. Whilst the position is permanent full time Monday - Friday, you will as a Mobile Service Engineer / Fitter be expected to be flexible as needed by our customers.

* PDI's, Servicing & Repairing Forklift Trucks
* Attend Client Sites to Repair and Service FLT Equipment
* Fit Accessories as Required
* Proficient in Fault Finding and Repair

* Complete Administration Tasks including Service & Repair Records Accurately
* Present a Professional and Positive Attitude when working on Customer Sites
* Maintain Health & Safety To HSE & Company Standards

Skills:

The Ideal Candidate for the Mobile Service Engineer / Forklift Fitter Role Will Have:

* Previous Experience in One or More of The Following Roles: Service Engineer; Mobile Service Engineer; Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Mobile Service Engineer, Forklift Engineer
* You Will Need Previous Experience within the Materials Handling and Construction Equipment Industry
* Analytical Approach To Problem Solving
* Able to Work Without Instruction
* Own Tool Kit
* Basic IT Skills
* Good Communication Skills, both Verbal & Written
* Clean Current Driving Licence
* Engineering Qualification
* Positive, Personable with a can do attitude
