HR Social Action Coordinator

The CIPD Community Investment team are looking for a HR Social Action Coordinator to provide effective programme, communication and administrative support to the team.
You will be delivering a high profile volunteering programme as well as contributing to the Community Investment team's wider social action agenda.
Social Action refers to HR professionals using their unique skills and experiences for the benefit of others.
It includes volunteering for and campaigning on a wide range of societal issues at both an individual and organisational level.
Key responsibilities -
- Provide full programme support, including end to end recruitment of Enterprise Advisers against set targets
- Working with the Volunteering Programme Manager, develop and deliver a robust internal and external communications plan to attract, promote and highlight the Enterprise Adviser programme including writing articles, gathering case studies, running focus groups, and report writing as required, and using a range of communication channels including social media, Web, and face to face to promote the programme
- Support on any events related to the Enterprise Adviser programme including managing venue bookings, sending out invitations, managing and tracking responses, preparing materials etc.
- Support the programme with any ad hoc activity as required e.g. supporting with monthly reports, and any new deliverables as agreed with the delivery partner
- Keep an overview of programme outputs, including marketing and social media promotion. Working closely with the Programme Manager to brief in work to the CIPD design team
- Support the Community Investment team's wider work on social action, specifically to support the set up and development of a Social Action Ambassador's pilot.
Knowledge, skills & experience -
- Sound experience in programme delivery and project management
- Able to demonstrate highest levels of customer service
- Experience of delivering multichannel communications programme or campaigns (desirable)
- Excellent organisational and planning skills are also required, and previous experience of providing project support is desired
- Excellent team player, with a flexible approach, whilst also being able to work on your own initiative without close supervision
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Advanced level of IT skills is essential, particularly in Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- Previous experience of workplace databases (desirable)
- Good written and spoken communication skills as there is a need for the post holder to communicate with people at all levels.
