Responsibilities of the Customer Service Advisor:
- To answer and process calls in a professional, consistent, and responsive manner
- To develop positive relationships, to provide a positive call experience for each customer
- To conduct transactions accurately
- Makes customers feel like individuals, pro-actively keeping them updated on situations that affect them
- To achieve minimum standards in quality monitoring assessments
- To assist is achieving the Contact Centre target of number of calls answered within the set timescale
Skills required of the Customer Service Advisor:
- Listens carefully to customers on all occasions
- Effectively diffuses conflict situations, placating difficult customers
- Anticipates problems and issues before they become visible to the customer
- Works well with other team members
- Shows consideration for others in the team
- Understands team goals and own goals in relation to the team
- Speaks confidently and unhesitatingly
- Need to be able to explain information using clear simple language
- Computer literacy & keyboard skills
