We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and self-motivated professional with experience in a risk, audit, assurance, compliance or finance role.
You will be a Certified Member of the Institute of Risk Management, or qualified CCAB or equivalent accountant with practical experience of risk management and assessing assurance and controls frameworks. You will also ideally have experience of evaluating financial performance and business continuity planning, but this is not essential.
Your responsibilities will include:
providing advice and challenge on the identification and scoring of risks and controls, and ensuring that the risk and assurance register is accurate and up to date;
supporting Value for Money (VFM) and performance management by performing financial analyses to evaluate the organisation's performance and areas for improvement;
ensuring the organisation's Business Continuity portal and plans are appropriate and kept up to date;
reviewing the effectiveness of control frameworks as part of integrated risk and assurance mapping and specific reviews; and
producing briefings and reports on these and other areas in accordance with corporate timescales.
