Senior Quantity Surveyor
A great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the regional Northampton office of a leading national house builder.
This developer are highly successful and have a reputation for building quality homes in Northampton and surrounding areas. They are cash rich, have a decent budget and currently have enough land for the next 5 years
You will be joining an enthusiastic, successful team and will enjoy working from a recently refurbished open plan office.
There is a good atmosphere in the office and staff retention is excellent (the Commercial Director and the Commercial Manager have both worked for the business for over 10 years)
Due to the size and growth of this developer they can offer you a career path upwards within the organisation
This developer work on schemes ranging from 80-750 units
The role - Senior Quantity Surveyor
You will be office based with site visits - sites are generally within an hour of Northampton
You will be joining a team of 10 Quantity Surveyors (varying levels)
You will be managing 2-3 schemes simultaneously
Office hours are flexible and you can either work
8.30-5pm
8.00 - 4.30pm
9.00 - 5.30pm
Benefits Senior Quantity Surveyor
Salary : GBP50-55k
10% company bonus scheme (4% is based on personal objectives and 6% is business objectives)
25 days holiday
(option to buy up to 5 days extra holiday per annum or sell up to 5 days holiday back per annum)
Excellent pension scheme (you can pay up to 5% - at 5% the company will pay 10%)
Choice of flexible benefits.
Car or car allowance
Company do 4 social events per year
The right person
You will have recent experience of working on volume housing schemes - this could be with a developer or a social housing company
- You will be able to mentor, educate and relate to the more Junior members of the team
You will be qualified to HNC level in a construction related discipline
