Our creative client has a brilliant opportunity to join them in a brand new position as a Food Science Editor and Channel Manager. The main purpose of the role is to generate content and run a range of social channels for one of their key European clients.
You will be responsible for creating and publishing content and well as moderating comments and debate. The client has a focus on science and agriculture so experience in this area is essential.
Duties include:
• Managing an editorial calendar across social channels
• Moderating pages in working hours and responding tactfully within an agreed timeframe
• Generating ideas for content
• Liaising with the Paid Media Manager and other internal teams
• Reporting on social channels using web analytics
• Writing social posts and optimising existing content for search
The successful candidate will need to have demonstrable experience creating content as well as managing social accounts. You will need to have the ability to understand and engage in complex scientific debate as well as have a collaborative approach to content and idea generation.
This is a full time, permanent position based in central Bristol with a starting salary of GBP24,000+ depending on experience.
