Salary: GBP25,000 Depending On Experience + OTE up to GBP30,000 first year

Sales ExecutiveRole Description
Our client is looking for a highly motivated; relationship focused Sales Executive to develop UK and Export sales of their dome building ranges. Working to team and individual targets specified in an agreed Business Plan, the Sales Executive will be expected to increase the number of dome sales in educational establishments, homes and commercial settings, both reactively and proactively.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for all stages of the sales process; from research and lead generation, to closing the sale therefore this role requires a good all-rounder with excellent attention to detail. The role is around 70% office based and is very solutions orientated.
Sales Executive Duties
- Grow proactive and reactive dome sales in all sectors to meet targets identified in the company Business Plan.
- Use research, knowledge and results to help devise and implement future growth and product plans
- Be responsible for the entire sales process. To include research, lead generation and follow-up, customer presentations and visits, quote generation, and closing the sale
- Nurture customer relationships, often over a long lead-time. This will entail listening carefully to customer requirements in diverse market sectors, proposing best-fit solutions, arranging visits, maintaining contact, confidently managing expectations, overcoming objections and resolving conflict, negotiating final sale
- Use creative writing skills to write compelling customer correspondence
- Manage and record all correspondence for the sales process in company database
- Organise and feed into the monthly sales meeting, and contribute to other internal meetings
- Represent the company at events and exhibitions
- Work closely with the Production and Product Designer to keep abreast of technical developments and project requirements
- Facilitate two-way communication with the Marketing Executive to identify content for marketing and PR material, and to ensure marketing supports sales activity
- Exploit customer relationships and referrals to grow new opportunities and sales
- Meet quarterly targets - for proactive lead and quotation generation and sales
The Ideal Sales Executivewill need the followingQualifications/Experience
- Educated to at least 'A' Level standard (Degree level preferred)
- Minimum three years' experience of achieving sales growth
- Demonstrable evidence of generating own sales pipeline and results
- Experience of relationship building and selling high-end products with a long lead time would be advantageous
- Experience of the education sector, architectural or general B2B preferred
- Experience of working in a team to an agreed Business Plan
- Professional sales training is desirable, but not essential. Full product and company training will be provided
- Confident generating leads through telesales
- Highly computer literature (Internet, Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be competent using a customer relationship management CRM system.3
- Clean, current driving licence - requirement of role
- Must have permission to work in the UK
Remuneration
- Circa GBP25K depending on experience - plus commission
- Unlimited Commission based on individual sales results and overall team performance - OTE up to GBP30,000
- 22 days holiday a year (plus bank holidays)
- Permanent position subject to a 6-month probation period.
