Location: Hayes, Middlesex

Contract Type: Freelance

Start Date: ASAP

The company brief:

One of the UK's premium residential developers who currently build out housing plots valued from GBP200,000 - GBP1.2 million across smaller bespoke developments and large scale multi-phase schemes are experiencing a large increase in output over the coming months the need has arisen to recruit for a General Labourer with immediate effect.

The project:

A traditional build 500+ unit site comprising of houses and apartments for private sale with elements of housing association across the various phases.

Your new role:

As a General Labourer working directly for the developer you will be working closely with the management team undertaking a varied mix of duties everyday. You will be key in contributing to the safe & on time delivery of a complex, exciting project in Hayes and your role will involve but not be limited to:

  • Handling site deliveries.
  • Unloading white goods and storing in the correct areas.
  • Removing bean bags from roof spaces.
  • Traffic management.
  • Working within the stores.
  • Maintaining site facilities.
  • Waste management.
  • Movement of materials.

About you:

  • Some previous in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential.
  • CSCS Card
  • Small tools or a PASMA certificate would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Focused on progress.
