About the role:

The Research and Innovation Development Office (RIDO) provides a centralised service to all staff to support the development of research and innovation capacity, knowledge exchange and external income. The Research and Innovation Funding Development Team (RIFDT) sits within RIDO and offers support across all three campuses, five faculties and associated Institutes in all activity related to securing external research and innovation funding.

As the Research and Innovation Funding Manager for the Faculty of Medical Sciences, a key member of RIFDT, you will work closely with academic colleagues, faculty management, and other members of RIDO to support and drive an increase in the research and innovation capacity in the Faculty, and more broadly across the university. Activity will mainly be based in Chelmsford.

Interviews will take place in Chelmsford on the 1 st November 2017 and applicants are kindly asked to be available on this date.

The role can be primarily based in Chelmsford, but there is a requirement to travel to other locations.
