IT Project Manager
Yorkshire
£350-£400 per day
IT Project Manager required for a leading global company who urgently seek an IT Project Manager to deliver a Data centre Migration project.
This is a 3 month contract role based in Yorkshire and paying £350-400/day.
Working closely with the Programme Manager you will be responsible for:
* Managing 3rd party suppliers to deliver to aggressive timescales
* Create and manage detailed project plans for individual work streams
* Creating and maintaining project documentation, RAID logs and process documents.
* Acting as liaison for the project with IT teams, business users and third party suppliers
* Supporting the Programme Manager in meetings, reporting and communications
Requirements:
* Must have previous experience of delivering Datacentre Migration projects
* Must be able to demonstrate that they can lead a technical team
* Must have delivered projects across multiple infrastructure disciplines e.g. WAN/LAN, WinTel, storage, databases etc
* Experience of managing 3rd party suppliers who are the primary technical resource on a project
* Experience of managing end to end testing
* Excellent stakeholder skills
* Good communication skills - written and verbal
* Advanced Microsoft Project and Excel skills
* Prince 2 Practitioner
