Our client boast a long track record in all aspects of civil engineering from major infrastructure projects in the water, road and bridges sectors to specialist expertise in structural solutions across a variety of sectors in the UK. Together we are looking for experienced Site Engineers to join the team, specifically working on the structures and bridges packages on a two year highways framework in East Anglia.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in work on bridges, roads, and civils packages. This is long-term project work, on a framework of more than two years.
Responsibilities will include:

- Setting out
- Assisting the Project Manager / Site Agents with site records, risk assessments, method statements and permits as appropriate
- Carrying out weekly tool box audits and safety audits
- Keeping accurate daily records of works planned and issues encountered.
- Communicate setting out control and provide information to assist with the construction of works
- Recording 'as built' information for Health & Safety File
- Ensuring setting out equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Carrying out pre-start OGL surveys with the Survey Department.
- Ensuring Health and Safety compliance on site
- Carrying out weekly tool box audits and safety audits
- Keeping accurate daily records of works planned and issues encountered.
Skills and Experience:
- Applicants will have a proven record of setting out on Civil Engineering projects including earthworks, deep drainage, highways and infrastructure and be capable of producing As Built drawings of such
- Qualified to Graduate standard
- CSCS card and have a 4/5years site experience
- Applicants will be conversant with all surveying instruments, co-ordinate setting out and be able to work confidently with Autodesk Auto-Cad
- SMSTS and First Aid will be an advantage but not essential
- A full clean driving licence is essential
