About the role
We have a great opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Support Worker at our Resource Centre in Keech, Luton. These opportunities are to work 35 hours per week on a permanent basis.

As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible.

Sense also supports people to take part in some of our amazing arts and wellbeing activities - from dance to music making, swimming to rock climbing.

Being a Sense Support Worker can be the springboard to your future career - and to all sorts of opportunities and management roles.

We also have casual (bank) opportunities in this area attracting an hourly rate of GBP7.50.

About us
Sense is a national charity that supports people who are deafblind, those with sensory impairments and those with complex needs, to enjoy more independent lives.

Keech Resource Centre (KRC) is a day service for young people aged 18+ with multiple sensory impairments and severe disabilities and part of Sense College. More information about KRC is available on our website.

About you
Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people's lives.
