Email Executive

A superb career development opportunity has arisen for an experienced Email Executive to join a fast growing on and offline retailer. Based in our Basildon office, the successful Email Executive will earn a competitive salary depending on experience plus excellent benefits.

The company has over 40 years’ experience and is the UK’s largest supplier of specialist ironmongery, supplying architectural ironmongery to builders, joiners and shop fitters. As a brand new role within the marketing team, we are looking for an experienced Email Executive to help drive sales and brand awareness. Your main role will include:

• Scheduling, building and managing multiple email campaigns using our email platform, to an agreed style, for both the recruitment and retention of customers
• Working closely with various internal and external stakeholders to support various marketing campaigns, including external creative and data agencies
• Producing detailed reports on email performance against set KPIs, with intelligent analysis and recommendations for ongoing improvements.
• Being responsible for the email schedule, which entails liaising with the product team to determine the themes and product selections.

You must be highly organised and able to manage various tasks and projects simultaneously, with exceptional attention to detail. Additionally, you will:

• Be creatively minded with experience in email production
• Highly analytical in order to report effectively on campaign metrics and performance, utilising Google Analytics and the ESP reporting, with a clear commercial focus
• Have the ability to communicate effectively, written and verbally
• Be extremely well organised and diligent
• Able to be reactive, work under pressure and cope with frequent interruptions and change of focus
