This challenging, enjoyable and rewarding role involves planning, developing and coordinating accessible, enjoyable, stimulating activities and opportunities for people with vision impairment, their carers or partners at our Client's Brighton centre.

They're looking for a highly organised, positive and flexible individual who'll provide encouragement, inspiration, ideas and enthusiasm, partnered with a passion for working creatively. You'll also have great MS Office, time management and problem solving skills.

This National Charity value their beneficiaries' well-being, individual choice and recognise the impact that activities have in maintaining and developing the skills needed to enjoy a good quality of life.

The successful Activities Coordinator will be able to demonstrate a collaborative and dynamic approach, with the ability to motivate the Charity's beneficiaries, their colleagues and volunteers to go beyond what they thought was possible.

You'll facilitate and design their in house activities, trips and events, including themed day events and their varied social activity programme. You'll support and coordinate their volunteers and actively promote their activities programme, matching services to their individual beneficiaries' requests and requirements

Experience of working with elderly people, those with sight loss or other disabilities would be an advantage, however full training will be provided.
