This Housing Group provide 6,500 rented homes for people in housing need, mainly in Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
About the Role
They are expanding their ambitious and high-performance Finance team to help them achieve their bold plans for development. This new and exciting role will play an active part in the day to day running of the department as well as contributing to their strategic goals.
As Risk and Compliance Officer you will assist the work of the Head of Risk and Compliance through the analysis of data in order that there exists an up to date overview of risk for all aspects of the Group’s business. This role will also hold responsibility for the provision of risk and compliance reporting to the Executive Team and Board at the Group.
You will get immediate exposure of working with, and supporting the Head of Risk and Compliance assisting them with the analysis of data in order to meet risk and regulatory compliance across the whole of the Group. You will gain critical experience and develop your understanding of the housing sector and regulatory frameworks. You will be supported through the Certificate in Risk Management through structured and on the job development.

Essential knowledge and Skills:
Degree – minimum 2.2
Strong analytical skills and a natural problem solver
Attention to detail and accurate working
Good written and verbal communications
Ability to grasp new areas of responsibility quickly

Desirable knowledge and Skills:
Experience of the principles of risk management
Knowledge and understanding of the work of Housing Associations
