The Opportunity

The firm are looking for a Real Estate Solicitor 1 - 3 years PQE to join a thriving Real Estate department

You will provide assistance on large and often complex transactions dealing with the sale, purchase or letting of substantial rural properties and businesses. Transactions range from GBP500,000 - GBP50m and can include options, promotion agreements, surrenders; conditional contracts, joint ventures and similar structures;

What is needed for me to be considered?

The successful applicants will:

- Work closely with all members of the team (of 2 partners and 9 other fee earners);

- Manage smaller transactions alone;

- Work predominantly for private clients;

- Have a strong background in general property law and ideally experience in dealing with agricultural and rural property;

- Ideally have some property finance, planning and development experience;

- Be attentive to detail and able to work to deadlines;

- Display a positive attitude and be flexible;

- Have strong communication skills;

- Be commercially aware; and

- Be willing to participate in the firm's business development activities.
