An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Multi-Skilled Trades Team as a Trades Operative. The role of a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson is primarily to repair and renovate properties to the highest possible standard using multi-skilled techniques and trades. As a front facing member of the Team you will be an ambassador for the company providing their tenants with an excellent Premium Brand service, committing to excellent standards of customer care and the continuous improvement of the services provided.
You will be responsible for the hand tools and equipment used in the purpose of carrying out the works directed by the Response Repairs Manager/Supervisor. In addition you will be responsible for the completion of works orders to the tenant’s satisfaction, as well as other related paperwork.
As a Trades Operative you must have a great attitude, clear focus, perseverance and lead by example to support the Group’s Mission, Values and Goals.
You will be expected to work a 40 hour week (Monday to Friday). The successful candidate will have demonstrable skills in their primary trade with the ability to demonstrate competency in at least one other secondary trade, a recognised trade qualification would be desirable. Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements is essential. In addition you will need to deliver a high quality customer service in a positive and professional manner as well as possessing good interpersonal skills including the ability to remain polite and positive in difficult situations.
Within this role you will be required to travel, a van will be provided for you and therefore a full UK driving licence will be essential.
