Salary: £10.96 – £13.30 per hour

Great job opportunities are available to join Parcelforce as a Delivery Driver starting in October/November 2017 on a six week assignment, as minimum. There’s the potential to become a permanent employee, which was achieved by over 25% of the drivers in last year’s programme.

You don’t need any previous experience driving a light van; all you’ll need is a full standard driving licence. You’ll be delivering some of the most important parcels of the year during the build up to the festive season.

What’s the role?

As a Delivery Driver, you’ll start the day by reviewing your delivery route and making sure your vehicle is loaded and safe. You’ll then be out and about; driving one of Parcelforce’s vans and delivering parcels to homes and businesses in your area.

At every step of the way, you’ll use your great communication skills to make sure great customer service is delivered every time.

A little about you

All you’ll need is good attention to detail, and great communication skills. You won’t be fazed by carrying parcels that weigh up to 30kg either.

You’ll need to be available for two or three months in the run-up to the festive season. After this, there’s the chance of it becoming a permanent job, if you’re interested.
