Lecturer in Functional Skills Maths (Work Based Learning) TRAF52416

They are looking for an inspiring and motivating part time (0.5, 17.5 hours per week) Maths Lecturer to join their Work Based Learning team in delivering functional maths to apprentices and work-based learners.

As a Lecturer at the College your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing an outstanding educational experience which maximises learner recruitment, retention and success and enables learners to maximise their potential.
• Delivering outstanding courses which meet learner needs
• Completing and maintaining effective data in relation to learners including, attendance, individual learner targets, progression, achievement and destination.
• Being responsible for a course or courses of study and learner outcome.

With a recognised teaching qualification and a qualification equivalent to level 2 in English, you will have a degree or equivalent qualification in Maths or Maths related subject (e.g. science, economics, engineering) coupled with experience of teaching functional skills maths across all levels. Experience of working with apprentices would be advantageous.
