Trade Counter Sales Assistant

Due to continued branch expansion, Parker Building Supplies, Sussex and Kent's leading independent Builders' Merchants have vacancy for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant at their Crowborough branch. This is a full-time role, working 45 hours a week and Saturdays on a rota basis (paid at overtime rate).

What will I be responsible for?

In this role, the Trade Counter Sales Assistant will be providing a point of contact for customers on the sales counter, dealing with enquiries over the phone and face to face, whilst maintaining high levels of customer service in order to maximise sales potential.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal Trade Counter Sales Assistant will have a good rapport with customers, be target driven, have good communication skills, be friendly, outgoing, self-motivated and must be able to work well within a team.

The successful applicant would ideally have experience with building materials but training will be given.
