Grade 6 - £16,888 to £18,049 (FTE) (actual salary £2,430 to £2,597)
6.25 hours per week - 38 weeks per year - permanent
Start date: September 2017

We are looking for an enthusiastic, calm and patient person who is able to supervise 11- 14 year old students during the lunch period, as well as manage our small team of lunchtime supervisors. Responsibilities will include ensuring the students' safety and welfare around the school site and maintaining an acceptable standard of behaviour. The successful applicant will enjoy working with students and have the ability to engage with and motivate them, encouraging them to interact positively with each other and take part in lunchtime activities.

Teamwork is an essential aspect of this post, as is the ability to form good working relationships with both team members and students. The successful candidate must have good communication skills and a reasonable level of fitness. Training and support will be given where required.

The post is for one hour and fifteen minutes per day during term time.
Ibstock Community College is an 11-14 mixed comprehensive with 550 on roll. The College was judged to be ‘good' in our most recent Ofsted inspection (October 2014).
