Capital insourcing team leaders organise and plan our capital investment work across our water and wastewater Assets in close collaboration with our asset delivery teams. We are looking for an effective team leader who is experienced managing people, projects and costs associated with installations. You will be responsible for the delivery of large programmes of work across a wide geographical area while supporting the delivery of this work within colleagues work areas as necessary. With fantastic administration and leadership skills, you'll be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clear and informative reports and project programs.
To be successful, you'll need:
- Minimum of NVQ level 3 (HNC preferred) in mechanical or electrical discipline
- Experience managing projects and refurbishments
- Experience planning resources and costs
- Experience leading a technically skilled team
- Full and valid driver's license
In addition, you will need to demonstrate that you:
- Can manage both people and project programmes to time and quality measures
- Work collaboratively with asset delivery and suppliers to achieve industry leading service
- Understand CDM and its application in the project workplace
- Have competency in electrical or mechanical design
