At Depaul UK we are currently looking for a Reconnect Family Mediation Worker to come and join our team based in Oldham, on a part time, permanent basis working 18.75 hours per week. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary pro rata of £23,700 per annum plus pension and other benefits.

We are a homelessness charity with the largest network of emergency accommodation for young people in the UK, making a difference to the lives of thousands of young people each year. You will have a vital role to play in helping us achieve our mission of offering homeless and disadvantaged people the opportunity to fulfil their potential and move towards an independent and positive future.

We require a Reconnect Family Mediation Worker to join our mediation team in Oldham. You will work with young people and their parents / carers / extended family to improve relationships with family members with the aim of able to return home if this is appropriate. We recognise that young people are more resilient if they have good social networks and relationships with family members.
In particular as our Reconnect Family Mediation Worker you will have experience of:
- Working with young people with high levels of need
- Mediation skills or training
- Report writing and presenting information
- Liaising with different agencies
