Domestic Abuse Coordinator - SIDAS
Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Our client is looking for Domestic Abuse Coordinators to work within their successful Domestic Abuse Service.  In this role you will spend time in the community and desk-based and be responsible for directly case working with victims of domestic abuse and their families on your caseload.

You will be able to  prioritise risk and help them with risk reduction and help them deal with the impact of domestic abuse, signposting to services through the coordination of an Individual Support and Safety Plan.  

You will help clients to identify and manage risk using the nationally recognised tools.  Your role will see you working closely with internal colleagues, Independent Domestic Abuse Advisors, Young People Violence Advisors and Family Intervention Workers.  

You will also work collaboratively with external agencies including social services, drug and alcohol services, Health and Police. You will be motivated, passionate and autonomous in making decisions.  The role requires accurate recording on electronic systems so you will be comfortable with word and excel.

A DBS check is required.
