Salary: £20,000 - £26,000 depending on experience

Our Client is a leading employment support and training services company, helping people to transform their lives and businesses through work, training, education and financial advice. They work in partnership with governments, public sector organisations, private sector companies, voluntary and community groups to deliver a range of front line public services.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Job Coach to join them where you will support and mentor customers on their employment journey into work, by providing them with an individual action plan tailored to their specific needs. This is a permanent, full time role based in Tower Hamlets, London.

They are looking for someone who has  is driven, hungry and has a passion for what they are doing. With previous experience in either welfare to work, recruitment or delivering excellent customer service you will have the ability to meet and exceed targets.  

As a Job Coach you will work in a fast paced environment where it is important to place customers in employment with pace. Motivating customers and providing continued in-work support throughout their two-year programme into sustained employment, the role involves both face to face and phone based interaction. Conducting weekly appointments to review customer progress, you will assess, record and review their readiness for work, ability to sustain work and barriers to employment. Producing and agreeing with each customer an individually tailored action plan, based on your assessment, this will lead to them getting and sustaining work. 

Interested in the growth and development of others, you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to build a rapport with a wide range of customers, both face to face and over the phone. Having a knowledge of the local labour market along with national trends is beneficial, as is having a proven ability to motivate and engage with challenging customers.
