Chef Manager/ Education Contract

Responsibilities of role

• Managing the Catering offering with a catering team of 5
• Serving customers in a busy restaurant in an educational establishment
• Be responsible for achieving monthly KPI’S and budgeted GP
• Responsibilities include customer service, cooking and preparation duties, managing stock levels and using touchscreen tills
• Managing a team on site to ensure an efficient and professional service is given at all times
• Ensuring exceptional presentation and service of food items and beverages at all times
• To promote first-rate customer relations in a professional manner taking personal responsibility for delivering excellence
• Ensuring all health and safety processes are in place, and the well-being and safety of all team members is seen as a priority
• Provide and maintain an efficient service under all areas of your control, following company values, policies and procedures

The ideal candidate will

• Have worked as a Chef Manager within higher education or a business and industry site
• Have passion and enthusiasm for fresh food and great service
• Be driven by excellence and attention to detail with a flair for presentation
• Be naturally outgoing and energetic with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Demonstrate confidence with a ‘Can do’ attitude
• Demonstrate high standards of appearance and dress at all times
