SENIOR AV TECHNICIAN Start: 1 September 2017 or as soon as possible
Salary: B&NES Grade M25 - 28 £22,658 - £24,964 (full time equivalent)£19,901 - £21,927 (actual pro rata)
Location: Keynsham, near Bristol/Bath
Contract: Full time 37 hours per week
Term: Permanent, Term Time Only plus 10 days
An exciting opportunity to establish a new role across the Trust to develop a well-respected service.
We require an AV Technician to provide technical support for events across the Trust requiring audio-visual/lighting equipment and class-based coaching of small groups of students at Wellsway School and the Bath Studio School. You will provide technical and procurement advice on all AV-related matters to the IT Manager.
You will have the support of the IT Support team which has existing AV support experience including an IT Systems Administrator who will work with you supporting large AV-based events and currently shares the class-based AV support at the Bath Studio School.
On the Bath campus you will also be required to support the use of its fully functional multi-camera Television Studio - training will be provided for this if required. Both schools use a mixture of Windows and Mac-based software for subject areas such as Music, Drama, Creative Media and Photography.
