Solutions Architect - Kent
£60000 - £75000 per annum
We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our Operations Team, working closely with IT Operations and Projects & Development. As a Solutions Architect you will focus on solution design and technical assurance. We adopt an Agile approach to development, with regular interactions with the business.
The ideal candidate for the role of Solution Architect will be:
* An experienced Solution Architect who has progressed from a programming background, preferably the finance sector.
* Experience of working with legacy systems and digital applications.
* Experience of designing and integrating IT solutions, for both in-house and package solutions.
* Experience of data governance and a good working knowledge of GDPR.
Requirements: The key responsibilities of the role are:
* Leadership of IT development and application support, through design principles and project assurance.
* Infrastructure architecture and optimisation.
* Designing and implementing Information Security solutions.
* Data Governance and data modelling.
* Involvement in IT strategy.
Required skills:
* Previous experience as a Solutions Architect
* Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering. Unix, Windows, Legacy Applications, Web Development, ETL development.
* Interpersonal and leadership skills - collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
* Communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Technologies; C/C++, Perl, HTML, ETL, Relational Database & SQL.
