Lecturer in Design & Illustration

37 hours per week / Full year basis

£20,500 - £38,650 per annum (qualified Lecturers minimum £25,500 per annum)

The College requires a dynamic Lecturer in Design & Illustration to join our Graphic Design team. You will help to plan, prepare and deliver illustration and design content over a range of creative BTEC courses. Primarily this will be for Graphic Design students at Level 3 and above. The Lecturer in Design and Illustration will also be required to teach and assess illustration in both traditional and digital media. Good drawing skills are required to supplement our existing team's digital skill sets.

Overview of the post

To be shortlisted for this role you will meet the essential criteria which includes, a degree, or equivalent, in a relevant sector area and have a good all round level of education, to include Maths and English GCSE Grade A - C or equivalent. You will also hold a Certificate in Education, or equivalent, or be willing to undertake training within a defined period of time. Knowledge of Adobe Creative software and strong illustration skills are also essential.
